If you have successfully installed a distribution of your choice on your device then the next thing you need to do is report your successes and failures to others. This will include speaking to people on a mailing list, posting it on a blog, or contributing to a Wiki.

The only other step is to play around with the applications that come with the distribution and report any problems, or even help to fix them.
