Overview

How to use this website

This website is meant to be a reference point for all the tasks that need to be performed in order to get Linux running on your handheld device. It is certainly not an exhaustive reference for everything that may take place but is here for you to begin your own venture to get Linux on your handheld.

Each section of this website will have a references page that will link to many outside resources relevant to that topic. It is highly recommended that you check these pages since these are the actual pages this documentation draws from.

Many pages have a sort of question and answer feel to them. This is to help you know what to look at for information and to provide easy-to-navigate headings and sections.

About this site

This site is made for people who want to learn about the process involved in putting Linux on their handheld device. There is a lot of documentation that exists for doing this but it is so sporadic that it makes it difficult to find what you need. The aim of this site is to gather all the information I have uncovered in the process of putting Linux on my handheld device into one easy-to-find location. Another goal of this website is to condense the most important parts of the documentation into easy-to-read chunks.

Please let me know if you find any misinformation or if there is something else that needs to be added.
